ACID SPORT is proud to have been mandated by FIBA to distribute the TV rights of its European and World Basketball Championships 2009, 2010, 2011 in Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.
2010 FIBA World Championship
Taking place every 4 years, this is the premier world basketball event for men’s national teams and the quality of the teams involved makes the games very competitive. Nearly every team features players that have played, or are playing, in the NBA and it will be a must-see for all basketball fans throughout the world. The 2010 World Championship will take place in Turkey from the 23rd of August to the 12th of September 2010.
2010 FIBA Women’s World Championship
Taking place every 4 years, this is the premier world basketball event for women’s national teams and sixteen teams will participate at the 2010 FIBA World Championship. After USA in 2002, Australia is now the current World Champion, it promises a great revenge in 2010...
The 2010 Women’s World Championship will take place in Czech Republic from the 23rd of September to the 3rd of October 2010.
2009 & 2011 FIBA European Championships
Taking place every 2 years, this is the premier European basketball event for men’s national teams and sixteen teams will participate at the 2009 & 2011 European Championships.
The depth of quality of European basketball means that any ten or twelve of the participating teams will have a legitimate chance of reaching the semi-finals and this is why the event is regarded as one of the highest quality basketball competitions in the world.
The 2011 European Championship will take place in Lituania in September 2011.
2009 & 2011 FIBA Women’s European Championships
Taking place every 2 years this is the premier European basketball event for women’s national teams and twelve teams will participate at the 2009 & 2011 European Championships.
This event is always keenly contested and will serve as the qualification for the FIBA Women’s World Championship.
The 2011 Women’s European Championship will take place in Poland in June 2011.
