WTA Marbella Tennis Open

ACID SPORT is proud to have been mandated by Octagon Spain to distribute in the whole of Europe (except Spain) for TV, IPTV, Internet and Mobile platforms a very new top level WTA International Tournament, The Andalucia Tennis Experience 2009, 2010, 2011.

This new WTA event played in Marbella - Malaga (Spain) is the 1st clay tournament of the season, with a prize money of $ 220.000. After the victory of Jelena Jankovic in 2009 and of Flavia Pennetta in 2010, the third edition will take place from the 2nd to the 10th of April 2011.

Being part of the International WTA Tournament series, it guarantees that at least 2 of the top 10 players will participate each season, playing to win this great new tennis event in front of 3.000 spectators on the main court.

Some great players such as Serena Williams, Jelena Jankovic, Victoria Azarenka, Kim Clijsters have already participated to the first editions of the tournament in 2009 and 2010.

Matches are produced from the Round of 16 up to the final and available live on satellite.
